NARS worked with celebrity makeup artist Toby Fleischman to create the look for Mildred Pierce’s Emmy-nominated Evan Rachel Wood. “Evan always brings something edgy to the red carpet and we wanted that to shine through for her first Emmy appearance,” said Toby Fleischman for NARS Cosmetics. “This look is ultra-feminine but show-stopping and fun.”

I started with a concealer (COVERGIRL Invisible Concealer in Honey) under her eyes and then wherever she needed a little extra coverage. I then used COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Foundation in Soft Honey (#255) and set that with COVERGIRL’s Clean Pressed Powder in Warm Beige (#145)
I then used COVERGIRL’s Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Plush Peach and set that cream blush with COVERGIRL’s Classic Colors Blush in Natural Glow. COVERGIRL Queen Collection 1-Kit Eyeshadow in Hot Toffee in the crease, COVERGIRL Liquiline Eyeliner in Black Fire along the top and bottom lash line, COVERGIRL Queen Collection 1-Kit Eyeshadow in Black Tie along the top and bottom lash line to set the eyeliner, and COVERGIRL Lash Blast Volume mascara in Very Black. Celebrity Stylist, Jen Atkin created a simple old Hollywood Look for Sofia Vergara at the 63rd Annual Emmy Award.s Atkin created a simple and clean, yet classic look. The look was almost “Barbie like” said Atkin, “I wanted the hair to reflect the elegance of her dress.”
Apply a light volume mousse to wet hair, starting two inches from the roots, to give the hair volume and body. Apply KeSARI Indian Oil Hair Serum two inches from the bottom of the hair and down, to keep hair shiny and healthy on the ends. Blow the hair dry using a medium sized round brush. Apply 1 ½ inch rollers to the top portion of the hair, using 1 inch rollers from the crown of the head to the nape of the neck. Using low heat, lightly blow dry the hair while the rollers are in to set the curls. Leave the rollers in for 10-to 15 minutes. To create the final shape of the look, spray hairspray onto a brush and brush through the hair, creating a slight side part. Finish the look by applying a dime size drop of KeSARI Indian Oil Hair Serum to the palms of hands and run through the hair, adding a final shine.

Sophia Vergara (age 39) looked amazing at the Emmy’s. Her dress by Vera Wang was one of my favorite of the night and most likely one of the best red carpet looks on her. But, not everything she was wearing was expensive designer. Her makeup look was done by makeup artist Kayleen McAdams and it’s all budget beauty CoverGirl.
Here is how Kayleen says she created the look:
Skin:

Makeup artist Vanessa Scali used Dior Beauty products to create an “effortless and chic” look for Christina Hendricks. “This look is all about champagne-nude eyes, pink milk maid cheeks and a siren mouth,” said Scali.
To prep Hendrick’s skin, Scali used Dior Capture Totale One Essential Skin Boosting Serum. “This serum disappears into the skin, leaving it feeling
fresh and smooth, ” she said. She used Diorskin Forever in Ivory #010 for foundation, DiorBlush in Strawberry Sorbet #943 on cheeks, Rouge Dior Lipcolor in Blazing Red #638 on lips, and Dior 1 Couleur Eyeshadow in Nude Luminescence #516, Diorshow Liner Waterproof in Carbon #098, Diorshow Mascara in Black on eyes.
