Lioele Aroma Waterproof Lip & Eye Remover Review

June 30th, 2010

Celebrity Makeup News and Blogs:

Lioele Makeup RemoverBesides the Triple The Solution BB Cream, I am really lovin’ Lioele’s Aroma Waterproof Lip & Eye Remover!

The Aroma Waterproof Lip & Eye Remover is a specialized point makeup remover for the lip and eye area. It is alcohol, paraben and preservative-free so it can be used even on the most sensitive skin.

Just like my favorite Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Make-up Remover and Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover, it is a double-phase remover so you have to shake well before use. Ingredients include Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Morus Alba (White Mulberry) Root Extract and Portulaca Oleracea Extract for condition skin and minimize inflammation.

The remover feels very gentle on the skin and does not sting even if it gets into my eyes. It does a great job removing everything – including waterproof mascara, eyelash glue and bright lipstick – all in an instant. The instructions says to leave this on for 15 seconds but 5 seconds normally does the trick for me. I also love that the remover does not leave behind a greasy film so there is no need to follow with another cleanser.

Price-wise, it falls into mid-range and is very reasonable. You pay $12.83 for 80ml whereas the Boots is $5.99 for 150ml and the Lancome is $26 for 125ml. But a bottle will last at least 4 months. I have been using this every day for almost a month now and there is still at least 3/4 left. Thumbs up!

Overall Rating:

Disclaimer: The Lioele Aroma Waterproof Lip & Eye Remover was sent to me for this review but you can get it at Pretty&cute.com for $12.83.

Yellow and grey black smokey eye make up

May 20th, 2010

Hia everyone, Follow me on Twitter, twitter.com I hope you are enjoying my quicker on the go everyday make up looks. I thought it would be fun to do both these and the longer ones which are more detailed like the celebrity inspired ones. Products used: Pale yellow eyeshadow from manly pro palette, found on ebay. Applied all over the eye lid and up just past the crease. Then applied to the inner quarter of lower lashline. Random gray/silver eyeshadow any will do applied to the outer part lower lash line and blended inwards 3/4 way. Then take the gray and apply it from the outer corner on upper eye lid area and blend inwards along crease. Pick your own intensity and blend as you like, Add a little more and dont blend as much so the outer crease is strong and defined. Boujois beige rose eye shadow applied to the eye brow area to highlight brow bone. Estee lauder black eye pencil: Take a pencil liner and apply to your lower waterline, this is the wet part. MAC bootblack liquid liner applied to the upper lashline as close to the lashes as possible as to leave no gaps. MAC plush lash mascara applied sparingly to the lashes upper and lower, tilt your head back for the top and head down & look forward for the lower. Paula dorf 2 in brows dark brown applied with a angled eyeliner brush to the eye brow to help define. Estee lauder bronzer applied to the outer parts of the face down the side in the shape of 3, start temples and work down towards cheek and then down in to jawbone. MAC
