Every modern woman wants to know how to do her makeup quickly and how to get it to stay on. Our long-wear collection is perfect for the busy woman who has just a few minutes to do her makeup in the morning—and needs it to look good all day long.

Intensifying Long-Wear Mascara ($24.00)

Our longest-lasting mascara not only delivers lush, thick lashes but also ultimate lash definition without smudging or clumping. A specially designed brush applicator fully coats each lash for maximum lengthening, curling and volume for up to 16 hours. Best of all? It removes easily with warm water.

  • Black Black

Long-Wear Eye Pencil ($24.00)

Say good-bye to eyeliner that ends up everywhere except where you want it to be. Bobbi’s new Long-Wear Eye Pencil is formulated with special polymers that melt at skin temperature, breaking it into a fluid line upon application for precise and transfer-resistant wear. The densely pigmented water-proof formula imparts a rich color on the lids that’s easy to apply, and stays put for 12 hours without fading.

  • Jet Blackest black
  • Smoke Charcoal gray
  • Black Navy Deep midnight
  • Mahogany Rich brown
  • Black Plum Rich eggplant
  • Hunter Deep emerald green

Long-Wear Cream Shadow ($24.00)

Don’t be fooled by its creamy texture. This formula resists creasing and smearing—and looks flawless at day’s end. Bobbi’s Long-Wear Cream Shadows are made of a buildable formula that delivers rich color with a soft, velvety finish. Easily applied with fingers or a brush, these shadows stay on for up to 12 hours without transferring or creasing.

NARS Holiday 2011 Gifting

October 27th, 2011

Celebrity Makeup News and Blogs:

NARS Holiday 2011 Gifting

For Holiday 2011, NARS introduces Modern Kabuki, a collection of specially designed gifts for the ardent makeup aficionado, inspired by François Nars’ travels throughout Japan, his deep interest in Japanese culture, and his fascination with Kabuki makeup. The collection captures the exquisite artistry of Japan’s Kabuki theater. Every detail is a vibrant, modern, iconic interpretation of the centuries-old dramatic form.

Hanamichi Kabuki-Inspired Eyeshadow Palette ($65.00) (narscosmetics.com)

Japanese for “flower path,” this Kabuki theater walkway that extends into the audience was the inspiration for this eyeshadow palette, featuring a Kabuki-themed design and accompanied by a mini Kabuki Eye Brush. The colors are evocative of shades found in Kabuki theater- an icy white with flowers in rich shimmering deep rose and gold and matte black.

Kudoki Kabuki Mini Lip Coffret ($125.00)

Named for an element of Kabuki dance, this year’s take on the Bento Box set features three new vibrant, super-saturated, limited edition shades poured into custom ceramic cups. Included is its own Kabuki Lip Brush and sleek keepsake wooden box.

  • Ougi Deep red
  • Takebue Neutral
  • Botan Deep pink

Mie Kabuki Mini Soft Touch Shadow Pencil Coffret ($55.00)

A collection of six mini, top-selling and limited edition Soft Touch Shadow Pencils. Just like their namesake Mie Kabuki— which references a moment of high emotion culminating in an extremely dramatic pose—these creamy, blendable, long-wearing crayons create bold, dramatic looks with just a few strokes.

  • Tall Tale Deep metallic purple
  • Magic Moon Deep metallic navy blue
  • Ballets Russes Silver
  • Aigle Noir Black infused with gold shimmer
  • Palladium Turquoise with silver glitter
  • Skorpios Copper

Kuroko Kabuki Mini Nail Polish Coffret ($35.00)

The set includes four mini-sized, bold and vivid nail polish colors based on shades traditionally used in Kabuki theatre.

  • Yoshiwara Red
  • Shiro-Nuri White
  • Kata Black
  • Senryou Gold

Nagauta Kabuki Brush Set ($225.00) (Barneys Exclusive)

Encased in an ultra-luxurious keepsake wooden bento box with red lacquer interior, this exquisite five-piece brush set is named for the principal musical forms in Kabuki theater and includes two new brushes exclusive to the set. Kabuki Eye Brush (exclusive to the set), Botan Brush, Ita Brush, Yachiyo Brush, Kabuki Lip (exclusive to the set).

mark Summer 2011 Ibiza Sol Collection Reviews, Photos and Swatches

April 10th, 2011

Celebrity Makeup News and Blogs:

Back in college, mark used to one of my go-to brands for great yet affordable makeup and skincare products. Over the years, the brand just keeps getting better and better and the upcoming Summer 2011 Ibiza Sol Collection is simply fabulous!

The Ibiza Sol Marbleized Lip Gloss ($10) comes in a rectangular tube with a black cap and sponge applicator, exactly like MAC’s Sugarsweet Tri-Colour Lipglass. I have Bonita Pink, a medium pink swirled with a shimmery goldish red. It goes on semi-sheer with just a tinge of color, very fine shimmer and zero tackiness.

Ibiza Sol Marbleized Eye Shadow Stick ($10) in Aqua Deep is a teal with white swirls. It shows up as a light teal or silvery blue depending on how much white is mixed in. The pencil glides on very easily and works great as both an eyeshadow and eyeliner. It also stays on pretty well without smearing or fading, even on the waterline.

Finally, the two Nailed It Trend Mini Lacquers ($7 for two) are equally as cute! Ibiza Sol Mojito is a creamy minty color while Ibiza Sol Tango is a creamy tomato red. Both polishes apply evenly with great color payoff and all I need is one layer to get opaque color. They also come in tiny bottles that are great for traveling and
