I like the Ulta shadows, but I dont buy them anymore because I started buying mac…..once you go MAC I don’t think you can go back….lmao.
I like the Ulta shadows, but you need a mixing medium to bring out their colors more and they cause a lot of fallout for some reason!
Thanks, Binky Boo. However, I don’t know if it is because I haven’t tried any of the other MAC eyeshadow finishes, but I was NOT impressed. I tried Stars n Rockets and did NOT find it to be very pigmented and/or smooth. I think NYX is much more pigmented than MAC eyeshadows. I guess I am irritated by MAC’s prices. I remember when you didn’t even own any MAC. What changed your mind, girly? lol
I think , I’ve been buying the right shadows is all? LOL . I don’t know it doesn’t crease as much and the shadows stay on longer. There is also a much bigger selection of colors with mac , which I like a lot.
However, I want to buy this makeup that is from ben eye….I just can’t afford it right now. IT’s better than mac and maybe a couple of bucks cheaper but it’s theater makeup and I use to use it back in the day when I did dramashows.

Which finishes do you have the most of…meaning, have you noticed that you gravitate towards a certain finish more than others or is it strictly by color choice? Finish, like which one’s look the best? I would have to say it all depends on the eyeshadow because I love mattes but the chrome yellow just doesn’t work well. I love frosts but retrospeck is a little hard to work with…however Parrot (which is a frost) is amazing. Hope I made sense lmao

I never thought about the Visine! thats a good Idea.
I usually use mist and fix or eye seal bye make-up forever. they work as waterproofer and keep the shadow in place well.

Remember how I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing red or any crazy colored lipstick, I actually looked great that time and when I went to the art store by my house …..3 people asked me to do their makeup for special occasions LMAO. They came up to me…I’m not a makeup artist or anything. I’m going to start wearing red lips so I can get more jobs hahaha
you should always put your moisturiser and foundation/powder on before so it can set into your skin properly. put a tissue on your cheek when you put your eyeshadow on so the excess falls onto the tissue, not your face.
You don’t always have to. It’s really up to the person and their personal choice. Thanks for the advice but I really like doing it the way that I do it. A lot of gurus here do it this way as well.
I believe that wiping it with a tissue does not remove all of the excess…I like to use a wipe with makeup remover or a baby wipe to remove the excess. Therefore in my eyes it’s a waste of time to put on moisturizer/foundation/powder/blush if I’m going to wipe that excess with a wet wipe anyways.
